Linda L. Stepan

Linda Linda L. Stepan in a Partner in our Cleveland office and has extensive experience representing employers throughout Ohio in workers’ compensation and general litigation matters. As a certified specialist in workers’ compensation, Linda advises employers of all sizes to help minimize risk, develop defense strategies, and contain costs.

Linda is known for her practical, proactive approach to resolving disputes efficiently and favorably whenever possible. An experienced negotiator, she frequently achieves successful outcomes without the need for prolonged litigation. When litigation is necessary, however, she is a strong advocate for her clients before the Ohio Industrial Commission, Ohio trial courts, and courts of appeals throughout the state.

Prior to joining McKinley, Stults & Aemisegger, LLC, Linda was a partner at a large regional law firm and previously managed the workers’ compensation practice group at a mid-sized Ohio firm. She has extensive experience representing employers across a wide range of industries, including amusement parks, beverage distribution, retail, healthcare, trucking, construction, heavy industry, and food production. Her broad industry experience allows her to identify potential issues early and develop effective strategies before disputes escalate.

Outside of her legal practice, Linda is actively involved in community and charitable organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County, volunteers with Akron Public Schools, and previously served as Board Secretary for Future Vision Foundation. Linda resides in Strongsville, Ohio, with her husband.
